Marines Helping Marines

The Marine Corps League exists to help Marines in need.

The assistance we provide comes in many forms.

Sometimes it's helping someone pay an emergency medical bill. Sometimes it's a pending or late utility bill or phone bill.  Sometimes we go as far as retrofitting a vehicle or a home to make it more accessible.

There has been more than one occasion when we put in an HVAC system or updated plumbing to improve living conditions. Other times we help Marines and their family members  prepare for and find jobs--we've even helped a few Marines go back to school.

Most often, though, we're simply here to lend an ear.  We're here when a Marine needs someone to talk to--someone who can understand their concerns.

But the bottom line is that we do what we can, when we can, however we can.

We exist to serve Marines, past and present.

Each Detachment in the Department of Alabama supports Marines and their families whether they are currently serving or have served honorably in the past; this includes FMF Corpsmen and Chaplains. Many Detachments also elect to support veterans from other branches of service, when possible.
